Speaker Bio:
Stanlie James is the former vice provost for inclusion and community engagement in the Office of the University Provost. She is also a professor of African and African American studies in the School of Social Transformation in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. In addition, she has a joint appointment to the Women and Gender Studies Program and is affiliated with Justice and Social Inquiry.
