The faculty and students of the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies are leaders in humanities research. SHPRS is affiliated with centers that are producing scholarship across many disciplines. From covering locales across the world to covering a range of thoughts relevant to today's society, the centers are transdisciplinary groups of faculty and students answering questions.
Faculty Publications
Here at SHPRS, we share our knowledge and findings with millions of people. Our faculty produce research on subjects that matter to people both locally and globally. These findings have been featured in more than 120 books and more than 1,000 articles.
Research Experience
SHPRS faculty are not the only ones producing world-changing research. The Undergraduate Research Experience places undergraduate students into research assistant opportunities working with faculty members on their research projects such as contributing to books and collecting clips for documentaries.
