Mission Statement
In the short term, MAP provides a forum for students to discuss topics concerning minorities and philosophy and connect with interested peers. In the long term, we hope that MAP will contribute to improved department cultures and facilitate increased participation of underrepresented groups in academic philosophy.
Grade Grievances
Refer to The College Grade Grievance Policy: https://clas.asu.edu/resources/academic-grievance. The first step is always for a student to try to resolve the complaint directly with the instructor. Unresolved course complaints advance to step 2. Students should contact the ADUS for SHPRS for step 2.

The School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies encourages students to pursue internships that are related to their career aspirations and bear directly on the disciplines housed within the school. Internships provide practical experience for students that complement their formal academic class-based studies. Depending on the internship site, internships may be voluntary or paid.
