The Master of Global Management (MGM) in Global Management is an in-depth, global business education professional degree program that combines general management coursework, cross-cultural insights, regional studies and foreign language components to educate global business leaders. With its innovative program philosophy, the master's degree program progresses through every facet of international management, with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities and practical, applicable nuances of global business. It is designed for individuals who want to immerse themselves in full-time graduate studies and take classes in person.

The Thunderbird School of Global Management offers undergraduate students in the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies (SHPRS) a quick and unique pathway to pursue global management careers in either the private or the public sector by obtaining their bachelor’s and master’s degree in an accelerated timeframe. Students will be equipped with a unique tool set to succeed in today's complex and competitive global environment. The program is designed for students who are motivated and aim to achieve career aspirations quickly. 

 Eligibility 

You are eligible to apply if you:

  • fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
  • have earned a bachelor's or master's degree in (any field) or related field, from a regionally accredited institution. The program is open to candidates from any undergraduate major.
  • have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of a student's first bachelor's degree program, or you have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program.

Applications

Applicants are required to submit:

  1. Resume documenting professional and academic history

  2. 1 essay answering an application question

  3. 1 letter of recommendation from a faculty member

  4. Possible 4+1 undergraduate students must have a 3.25 cumulative GPA to apply to the accelerated program. Students with a 3.0 cumulative GPA must also submit a GMAT or GRE.
